We are home from our from our fantastic visit to Portugal. We booked three trips with RJP Tours & Transfers and all were fun and informative. Ricardo was a great tour guide and communicated with us before our trip and especially when we were in Portugal. Hugo drove us from Coimbra to Lisbon with several stops along the way. Day trips to Sintra & Évora made our trip complete. I cannot recommend Ricardo enough! Thanks for an amazing trip!

The moment that we met Ricardo we knew that we had made the right choice! Professional, respectful and full of knowledge. We did 3 day trips with Ricardo and it was the best decision that we made for our trip to Portugal. Talk about a carefree and beautiful trip!!

We had a great private tour in Lisbon with Adrian Martins as our guide. Adrian was extremely kind, friendly and generous with his time. He took us wherever we wanted to go and provided interesting information along the way. He exceeded the 4 hour time allotted for the tour by about an hour.

An Unforgettable Experience with RJP Tours – Highly Recommend!

I am so glad we chose RJP Tours for our trip to Portugal! We booked three private tours with them, and every single one was absolutely amazing. We had one tour with Hugo and two with Ricardo, and both were fantastic guides who truly made our experience unforgettable.

As promised, they made the tours not only informative but also so much fun! They took us to beautiful hidden gems and special places that you would probably never experience on a typical group tour. Their knowledge of Portuguese history was outstanding, and they explained everything in such an interesting and engaging way that it never felt like a boring history lesson.

Another highlight was the food! We stopped at wonderful, authentic, local Portuguese restaurants rather than touristy places. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was so genuine and warm. You could really feel that everything was done from the heart.

Here are the three tours we booked:

1. Sintra Private Tour
A wonderful experience exploring the beauty and history of Sintra. We enjoyed every moment!

2. Lisbon to Porto Transfer with Stops in Óbidos, Nazaré, and Aveiro
I cannot recommend this experience enough, especially for anyone traveling from Lisbon to Porto! Initially, I was hesitant because I thought visiting three towns in one day would be too much and we would end up exhausted. I was completely wrong! Everything was so well organized and perfectly paced that we never felt rushed or tired. Instead of simply traveling from one city to another, we turned the journey into an amazing sightseeing experience. I would strongly recommend this option to anyone planning to visit both Lisbon and Porto.

3. Douro Valley Wine Tour
Oh my goodness, what an incredible experience! The Douro Valley is breathtaking, with some of the most spectacular viewpoints and scenery we have ever seen. We visited a charming family-owned winery, enjoyed wine tasting, learned about the local wines, and, of course, couldn't resist bringing some bottles home!

Throughout our tours, we traveled in a luxurious, comfortable Mercedes vehicle, with bottled water provided and every detail thoughtfully taken care of.

What really sets RJP Tours apart is that the experience feels so personal. It never felt like we were simply tourists being taken from one attraction to another. Hugo and Ricardo made us feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.

If you are planning a trip to Portugal and want to experience the country beyond the typical tourist attractions, I wholeheartedly recommend RJP Tours. They truly know how to make your vacation special, memorable, and fun.

We had the absolute best time traveling through Portugal with RJP Tours & Transfers. From Porto to Lisbon and down to Lagos, our incredible guides, Fernando and Ricardo, made everything feel truly special. They showed us stunning hidden gems, breathtaking viewpoints, and charming towns we would have never discovered on our own.

Our itinerary was packed with unforgettable experiences. We visited the Douro Valley for a beautiful cruise and a tour of the Quinta Seara d’Ordens winery. We also explored Amarante, Aveiro, and the gorgeous beach town of Costa Nova, as well as the historic village of Óbidos and the sacred site of Fátima. From there, we took in the magic of Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais. Moving south, we enjoyed a spectacular seaside lunch in Vilamoura and an amazing tour of the Benagil Caves.

Ricardo and Fernando, thank you so much for sharing your time and expertise with us. We came away with not just beautiful photos, but wonderful memories that will stay with us forever. It was truly an unforgettable trip!

From the moment we hopped into the van in Lisbon, Ricardo and RJP Tours & Transfers treated us like family taking us right across Portugal exploring its beauty, history, and incredible cuisine. Every request was met with the care and detail you would offer the ones you love. The itinerary laid out before us included stops on our bucket list including wine tours and tastings, historical landmarks, incredible vistas, beautiful cathedrals, AND surprising pit stops along the way. Ricardo was always flexible and catered to our every whim. Throughout our journey Ricardo shared his extensive knowledge of the country and culinary delights introducing us to his favourite local restaurants.

Ricardo and his team are amazing! He is very quick to respond to our numerous questions and much more! We did several days with him and were amazed at the whole experience! Paulo was our tour guide to Sintra from Lisbon. Ricardo the owner setup the parameters to fit our needs and showed up with act of kindness taking the time to ask us (group of 8) that we are ok. You in good hands with RJP tours. I highly recommend if you are looking into fine details and beating the lines and not to worries about the “what-ifs” they also recommend other your guides if they are unable to make it.

The lunch they provided was immaculate and the drinks were complimentary. Really enjoyed the transfer tour with Ricardo. He was prompt, knowledgeable and amusing - it felt like travelling with a friend. The recommended lunch spot in Nazare was local,
